The domain which extends over 450 acres is chiefly covered with woods.

At the vicinity of the main house, a park of 130 acres has been designed during the 19th century. A river abounding in fish runs gently, nearby the castle, across the meadows where some high trees such as oaks, sequoias, cypress-trees, plane-trees, laricios and cedars have been planted for the embellishment of the landscape now with high and impressive forest trees.

Most of the property is intensively cultivated for forestry and enjoyed for shooting
(rabbits, pheasant, woodcocks, pigeons and ducks) and hunting for stags, deers and wild boar. Timber trees mostly consist of oaks, different varieties of pines, ash-trees,beeches and some poplars.

Beautiful sandy alleys across the forest allow for nice walks and horseback riding.
