The Countess will be delighted to welcome you in our property in
the Loire Valley.
She was born and raised in Southern California.
She studied fine arts and painting at the University of California
and moved to Paris at age 27. Why? Because every artist must at
least travel to Paris and she wanted to immerse herself in the culture
and milieu. Plus her nickname is Gigi, a perfect name for an American
in Paris. She sings in the semi-professional Paris Choral Society
and is frequently requested to play improvisational flute music
at events. Her book on the art of receiving guests “Cooking
With Gigi, La Vie de Chateau” is in progress. Gianne travels
frequently between Europe and the United States to visit family,
who say she has become more French than American, even while retaining
strong roots in California.
The Countess used her artistic vision to completely restore the
Count’s family 18th century chateau and estate complete with
authentic color palettes and details, fabrics and period furniture.
The chateau is a living museum and testament to a historically vibrant
past that celebrated all of the fine arts. She recently completed
restoration of her artist painting studio on the chateau grounds.
Her painting is inspired by the forest and lands surrounding their
chateau in the Loire Valley. She is currently restoring the grounds
and gardens.
Your hosts are known for their lavish and original
thematic parties that were recently covered in a Japanese luxury
magazine. They are hosting three new elite tailored programs in
art, music and wine, and hunting for selected guests.
We look forward to greeting you in our home!
